07/01/10 Final Cut Classic golf and wine tour
Over 100 industry guests are already signed up to attend the Final Cut Classic golf event on July 23rd in Hood River Oregon. It is a great show of support for the crew and other business owners who work together to continue growing the film, video and interactive production industry through OMPA, and to raise money for OMPA's education scholarships. Participation in the event is designed to bring more exposure and deeper business contacts to the attendees and sponsors.
The website www.ompa.org lists details about golfing, as well as the wine tour and dinner banquet.
Why support OMPA?
OMPA is a voice for Oregon's statewide production industry, whose mission is to grow jobs and business opportunities. OMPA addresses its mission through various programs: publishing a professional directory so that the industry is more readily accessed to make jobs and business happen; promoting Oregon as a production location so that the local market will benefit from increased business; conducting workshops, advocating with economic development programs, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, and producing high-value professional networking events like this one.
This year's Final Cut Classic is powered by Autodesk, AJA Video Systems, and Key Code Media.

About Us:
The Oregon Media Production Association is Oregon's trade association for the Film, Video and Multimedia industries. Since 1982, the OMPA has advocated for the growth, development and enhancement of its member industries, and offered its members opportunities to network, share best practices, and maintain a healthy and functional community. The OMPA publishes media that reaches Oregon's film, video and multimedia production community, and publishes "SourceOregon.com," an annual directory of media production personnel and resources, available in print and online.
