Great article highlighting the values and benefits of online reviews. This is a must for all businesses, but even more for the small to midsize businesses as they don't have the marketing budgets large corporations do.

Sites such as Yelp or Citysearch are excellent ways to obtain visibility and stand out amongst your competitors. Businesses should be asking (in a polite, and non-spammy way) their customers to post reviews as they are extremely powerful. Even if a negative review is posted, it allows for the business owner to step in and join the conversation as well.</description>
